Viking CourseWorks was created as an affordable, convenient way for students to access course materials, but we understand it may not be a fit for everyone. All students will automatically be enrolled in the program; if you wish to opt-out, you must do so every semester through your Viking CourseWorks Student Dashboard. The opt-out window begins 45 days prior to the main semester/term start & ends on the date specified on the Participation Status page. If you use financial aid to cover your course materials, you should remain opted-in, unless you find the cost of required materials lower than the program cost. Students who opt-out and want to use their financial aid to cover course material costs should save the estimated cost of materials they received from Financial Aid.
